What our customers say

Stoirm
Photo of little lady at 5 months old
"When my boyfriend and I first started our search for a Malamute we came across Sharon and Mark's website, having seen pictures of their dogs and from talking to Sharon we soon decided this was the kennel for us. When arriving at the kennel on the day to take our pup home we received a friendly welcome from both of them, and were impressed with the kennels and space that the dogs had. Our puppy Stoirm is a total darling, very friendly, affectionate and very good tempered.

Stoirm attends puppy training classes and as this is our first pup, it has been a learning curve for both of us and Stoirm but she is getting on well and hoping to move up to the next level in the next couple of months. Stoirm gets loads of attention when we go our for our walks, everyone stops to ask where we got her from, they think we are mad to go so far for a dog (we come from the very north of Scotland) but she is definitely worth it. The whole family would like to thank Sharon & Mark for giving us our wonderful little girl and will certainly remember them in the future when we take the plunge and get another puppy!!! Thank you so much!"

Summer time 2005 I started actively looking for a reputable Malamute breeder. After weeks of searching I discovered Engbull. After speaking with Sharon on the phone, and by email, I waited for 2 litters before I finally got the pup I was after, a handsome grey and white male; TIKO.  My girlfriend and I travelled from the south coast, up to Wales to pick him up. I was most impressed with how much space the dogs had to run and how clean the whole area was. Clearly it took a lot of time and effort to maintain this high standard. Most importantly, the dogs all looked happy and content. TIKO was excellent on the 5 hour journey back, sitting in my girlfriends lap without a fuss throughout the journey.

Almost 1 year on (to the day) and TIKO has grown into a happy healthy dog and is one big part of the family.  His temperament is excellent, and he mixes well with other dogs, children, and is very friendly, too friendly sometimes as he is a rubbish guard dog ! however, he does howl every time a police siren goes past, very strange, but fun to watch ! All in all, I couldn't have wished for a nicer dog and the trip was well worth the drive. Many thanks to both of you and I will keep you updated of TIKO's progress.

Much love,  Russ & Hannah x

We have had Bauer for 3 months now and have loved every second of it. Having picked him up in July 2006 we have found him to be a truly remarkable dog - at 8 weeks old he was virtually house trained, he sat as good as gold for over 4 hours on the journey back to Derbyshire and has been like a ray of sunshine in our house since.

We are really proud of him, especially since attending Puppy classes of which he is top of the class, even against other breeds known for obedience such as Alsatians and Collies. Everyday he makes us laugh one way or another and is always ready for a cuddle.

He has two other friends, our cats both of which he loves very much. In fact as well as the cats he is also fine with other dogs of both sexes which proves Malamutes are not quite as 'wild' as what they are made out to be.

Thanks very much to Sharon for her pre and post sales advice which was fantastic. Sharon has superb knowledge about Malamutes and I know I will always be able to rely on her for advice if I should need it.

Take Care

Darren and Cathryn Wagstaff x
